Outing #4: The Shore of the Baltic Sea

Includes bus transfer.
9.00 am to 1.30 pm, 16.00 EUR/person

If you come to Lübeck, you also have to smell the Baltic Sea. You can do that best on a walk along the sea shore. We start at the café Herrmannshöhe. From there, the way leads along the steep coast at Brodten which is up to 20 meters high. In some places, you walk through a small coastal forest, but you can always see the ocean. After approximately four kilometres, the route ends at the boardwalk of Travemünde. There you have time to visit Germany’s oldest lighthouse or the four-master Passat.
Those who do not wish to walk that far can take the bus from the photo stop at Hermannshöhe directly to the beach of Travemünde. If the weather is nice, we will be happy to reserve a “Strandkorb” (roofed wicker beach chair) for an extra fee of 13.00 EUR (advanced booking needed).
